“We had a fantastic stay at The Family Tree. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, clean and quiet. And the breakfast was amazing! Just a few minutes’ drive from the Tramway Museum, or a lovely 40-minute walk along the canal to the Hurt Arms in Ambergate. In the end, we were sorry that we were only staying the one night; wish we could have stayed longer. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in Derbyshire!”

“The room was lovely with a two seater sofa, spotlessly clean. Nice tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast was outstanding. Lots of choice really nice quality food and very nicely cooked. The evening meal that we had there was also very good. Nice play area for children. I would add the pub had air conditioning, fantastic in the hot weather enjoying a nice glass of wine.
