Everything was good. parking not much little town is seasonal so no restaurant. night checked in we had no hot water but just thought it would be fine in morning but no it wasn’t and room had no way to contact anyone went down stairs and door was locked and no bell so we just left without waiting to have breakfast which all reviews were excellent

Our daughter stayed four nights with her dog, Sam. Mike made their stay comfortable and enjoyable, even offering her a home cooked breakfast each morning. We recommend the inn!

The Dogeton Inn is a wonderful place in the heart of Cuchara. The owner, Mike, made us a superb breakfast and was very accommodating. Highly recommended!

The suites of Dodgeton Creek Inn are spacious and comfortable. The host is exceptionally accommodating and my stay in this quiet town was just the respite I needed in the middle of a long, solo trip. I would definitely recommend this property and and look forward to staying here again.

i didn't enjoy my stay at all. Things were dirty. Everything was very old and dirty. Tv didn't work at first and was very complicated. I asked the owner for help and he came. He didn't fix and he just left to help someone else and didn't come back. The bedding was really old. The beds were all very uncomfortable. The refrigerator was dirty. The floor had no carpeting and was dirty and soooooo cold. He had spare stuff for the whole hotel stored in our room so I felt like I was staying in a storage room. There was no direct way to get ahold of the owner of the place. There was no direct phone to him so you had to walk around to find him. I left a day early because I couldn't stay there another day. Although the scenery was exceptional

We had a great 3 day stay. Cuchara is a wonderful place to relax, hike, golf and just enjoy the outdoors. Mike and his B & B, Dudgeon Creek Inn were great. Very comfortable, well located and tasty breakfasts.

Great for families
We were looking for a place to stay before hiking the Spanish peak. This place is in a great location, close to restaurants. The host was very accommodating, even making us a hot breakfast at 5:00AM so we could start our hike early. He also provided great information helping us with our stay and hike. The room was a little outdated but clean, big, and very functional.

Breakfast was delicious. The owner is very accommodating, extremely pleasant and interesting to visit with. The property is quiet and it was wonderful to fall asleep to the creek behind and the wind blowing through the trees.

The village and area around the Inn is lovely and relaxing. The host Mike was very gracious and welcoming. The Inn is what I would call "rustic". If you know that it's not fancy you'll be happy. You will find mismatched furniture, some dust around, and some things that could use an update. There is Wi-Fi but no TV. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet. Our king room was huge, really like an apartment. You could sleep 7 in there easily (only one bathroom though). The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed meeting some of the other guests. There is good dining right next door. It is a beautiful, relaxing, friendly location in the mountains. Don't expect a 5-star hotel and you'll get along just fine. We would stay again.

The location was great. In town but didn’t have to walk far to find wilderness. Loved the babbling brook behind the property! It was very nice to sit by and to dip toes into. Breakfast was amazing. French toast & bacon & coffee served outside. Mike was very friendly and accommodating!

This is a unique setting in a small town. The inn is lovely, our room was spacious, and Mike was an outstanding host. We did have one problem: cell phone coverage was spotty, and we had trouble finding the Inn and could not call the innkeeper for directions. There is no wifi in the room, so we were off the grid for the night, not able to be online or use our phones, so be aware.

Really nice
We got in later than check in time and Mike greeted us. He is super friendly. We only stayed one night. The room is large and comfortable. The next morning Mike made us breakfast which was awesome. Great views beautiful scenery.

The community of Cuchara is charming, Mike is an interesting host, the breakfast was fantastic, the room was large, the bed comfortable, and everything worked. The property is furnished in old-style, but good condition. The patio by the gurgling stream was great. We enjoyed our stay and would return again to this beautiful part of Colorado

Cuchara is worth the trip!
This place is a hidden gem. Mike is great and makes you feel so welcome, and does a very nice breakfast! Dog bar is on the other side of building, very lively and fun place!
