Staff were friendly and helpful - although several of my tours happened at weird early hours and I did not always see desk staff around so I am not sure about the 24/7 detail.
Aesthetically it’s charming and authentic, looks just like the photos. Some of my room and bathroom fixtures were a bit worn, but all fully functional.
You’re not right in the center of town but it’s an easy walk — about 15 minutes mostly flat. I did not need to use taxis for any of my tourist activities (on arrival and departure because of luggage).
Overall, I would say it’s a good value for the rate and would recommend booking here. Plus there was an adorable kitten at reception while I was staying!
