“Good for a single night. No amenities.”

“There was the most cleanest room and bed I've ever!!!”

“Not safe!!! Things were stolen from our hotel room! Staff did nothing and didn't seems to care. Signs clearly state that they do not clean rooms unless requested, yet they cleaned ours the day after we reported the missing items. No cameras in hallways or elevator. Witnessed another person having a bag stolen as well. I am in awe of the lack of care the staff has. Do not trust this place!”

“My room was fabulous. Clean smelled great. . The heater was quiet and worked nicely . 2 chairs to watch the tv with pretty good Chanel’s to choose from. Light was perfect room was quiet and dark at night bathroom was clean a big the fan was quiet so I didn’t wake anyone up when I used the light . Enough plugs to use two c paps ! “My husband and I love staying at historic hotels and the Alex Johnson Hotel in Rapid City is a favorite. The building is wonderful and the staff was excellent. Clean, charming and welcoming. Great shops and restaurants in the building and more in easy walking distance.”

“Very disappointed the hot tub didn't work.”

“Staff were very friendly, room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good, the breakfast staff did a great job keeping food coming and keeping cold food cold and warm food warm, The chocolate waffles were a hit! I was very disappointed that there was no hot tub but after getting over that our stay was very pleasant”

“It was perfect for our visit. Efficient and very clean.”
