"Absolutely beautiful cottage and wonderful pub "

"Lots of negativity about this Hotel Our experience was Very good Check-in Swift hall Reception downstairs areas Magnificent Staircase Ladings upto 1st floor all new carpets Clean room was great clean superb shower room Staff we're Fantastic Really Helpful and friendly Yes parts of hotel bit Shabby/need updating which is a huge task giving Size of the building but work ongoing in smartining it up Only real moan the fantastic balcony overlooking the sea front (Smoking Area) could do with pressue washing sooner rather than later and add few more Bins Just booked for next year going to be interesting to see the changes and upgrades they doing "

"The room was lovely,the staff were brilliant and chef was so accommodating for my allergies and very keen to ensure correct measures were made. Food and pudding were amazing! Family room was big, one single bed very springy however. Breakfast was ok but not the best selection. Eggs were made to order but wasnt asked about my allergies on this order just that he would ask the chef to make fresh. Staff all very friendly. Walls were a little think so could hear a dog barking all night and next door snoring. But 100% stay here again. Lovely setting. Fab menu. Lovely cosey bar. "

"The hot tub was fantastic and inside which was great, lovely and relaxing. The cottage was really beautiful, upside down which I loved. Very peaceful, but there were mouldy patches around the base of the shower and we noticed a few cobwebs. We couldn't find a bowl for use in the microwave. Just a couple of small niggles really. We enjoyed our stay and had a lovely couple of days."

"From arriving on site, to leaving on the last day, it was an amazing experience. I've never done glamping before, but after this experience, I will most definitely be doing it again. The communication from Bruce was brilliant, even down to the directions when coming on to site. Everything was explained fully and the tour of the site was informative (even if it was blowing a gale and pouring it down). Everything was within easy reach of the wagon, which also came well equipped. Chester (my cocker spaniel) loved the open spaces and had ample room to explore and stretch his legs. The site was extremely dog friendly and we didn't even scratch the surface on all the walks we could have done. Dalby was a mere 5 minute drive away to the edge of the forest which again gave ample walks to take Chester on. Storm Amy had taken its toll on the surrounding area, but this didn't stop us having a great time. The small selection of goodies were gratefully received, and the bacon was enjoyed along with the free range eggs which had been laid that morning (not by Bruce might I add). I would highly recommend booking to stay here, and I will definitely be booking to go again in the future!"

"Lovely place, beautiful food and a really nice room and ambience. But what really made this place was the wonderful warm staff. The lady on arrival was really welcoming, the girl looking after us for food was very attentive and the gentleman who welcomed us at breakfast was delightful. Would highly recommend and will be back in future, thankyou so much!"
