“First time staying there and everything was fantastic! While it is an older property, the staff does all they can to make you feel welcome and are very helpful with request. The breakfast was always wonderful. They offer supper as well and there is an onsite bar. We used it as our base for a nine-day trip to Ireland. There is a bus stop nearby that can get you to the train station and you can go to Dublin or just explore the coast cities. While I did not get names of staff, we never had one of...
“The most impressed I've been with a hotel in years. Breakfast was unique .....a cold plate in the room, fresh yoghurt and granola, higher end Nespresso machine, milk, tea etc on hand. At 7 in the morning, they hang a bag of fresh croissants and pan au chocolate on the door......so you can eat breakfast when you want. Very nice. Staff were great and the hotel is in like new condition with top end fittings and bedding. Lovely”
“very small but efficient space. Almost too tiny to accommodate two for a longer period of time. Great location for transit restaurants and close to the water. Very quiet and comfortable. No complaints but little amenities in location and my female partner did complain about size. She is not used to European spaces.”
“Extremely quiet location, but a tad remote from much of the action. No near-by dining other than those in the hotel. Thirty plus minute walk to Temple Bar area, which is where most of the action is. If you are looking for a quiet location, this is a great choice - we slept with our windows open and never heard a sound from the street 2 stories below……”
“There are no restaurants near the hotel by foot, but the restaurant at the hotel was very good. The staff also helped us with a parking issue and in-room needs. There is a gas station next door which is convenient, and they have a wide variety of snacks and drinks.”
