"Part of a developing seaside resort - the Wave Hotel East, which opened in January 2025 was near empty when I stayed (July 2025) which is not a bad thing. Rooms are excellent, large and spotless. Great sea views, nice breakfast. The hotel facilities are limited, the pool has no loungers, the shops are all yet to be occupied etc. however Sihueng is great if you enjoy jogging, and the random quiet emptiness of it all makes your stay memorable. There are several restaurants open, and there is the wavepark itself (a surfing park with a wave machine). You can get there by public transport (Bus 33) but it takes a long time - taxis are easy to hail. "

"집 공사로 인해 하루 숙박할 곳이 필요하여 묵었습니다. 다른 지역에 있는 신라스테이에 숙박했을 때도 매우 만족스러웠는데, 천안 신라스테이도 역시 좋네요. 조식도 맛있었고, 중식은 50% 할인 혜택이 있어 이용해봤는데, 기대 이상으로 훌륭했습니다. 전체적으로 복잡하거나 시끄럽지 않아 조용하게 쉴 수 있었던 점도 인상 깊었어요. 객실 상태도 매우 청결했고, 3시 체크아웃이 가능해서 여유롭게 일을 하면서 쉬다가 체크아웃할 수 있어 정말 만족스러웠습니다. 지인이 천안에 머물거나 또 숙박할 곳이 필요하다면 적극 추천하겠습니다."

"The downstairs lobby was beautiful, but you feel like there was a bait and switch when you get upstairs to your room. The smell was so bad until you opened the window and aired your room. The room was small and made me think it was a remodeled motel. The beds were clean along with the bathroom. Unfortunately I didn’t get to sleep much because it was like sleeping on boards. It was great as a break, but I wouldn’t live in the hotel. "

"For the first time I felt like we were in a Hotel in Korea. Provided A/C remote control and towels. Location is not a great place for tourists. Hotel is pretty close to the train station - around 15 minutes by taxi. Overall, we felt safe and felt comfortable. Bed is OK, could do some improvement. "
