So happy to have found this property near the music venue at the Coves at Smith Mountain Lake. Staff was very friendly, good breakfast, comfortable and quiet room. No smell, comfortable mattress and pillows. One suggestion: Time to update towels!

Check-in was quick. Employee was friendly. Elevators were quick and clean. Room was spacious and clean and came with coffee maker and refrigerator. Bed was comfortable. Window black-out blinds worked well. Water pressure in the shower was good. The only disappointment was the lack of healthy breakfast options.

Thr room was as advertised. There were two queen beds and the bathtub was handicap accessible. The room was very large. There was plenty of space for our suitcases and my rollator. And we could move around comfortably. The closet was big and had an iron and ironing board. There was a full length mirror which is much needed for checking your attire before you leave. I liked the two shades that were remote controlled. One was light and it is used to add more light to the room during the day. The other is a room darkening shade. The bathroom was spacious. My only complaint about it was that a towel bar should be installed near the sink for the hand towels. The breakfast items were plentiful and delicious. Every staff member was very pleasant and helpful. Staff members sent text messages to find out if I was satisfied with my accommodations and to let them know if I needed anything. They also answered my questions about restaurants and the grocery store. I would stay there again.

Room was not very clean. I understand being a dog friendly hotel but the room smelled very bad like dog and there was hair all over the bathroom floor and in the sink. I also washed a cockroach down the drain in the shower. Not our typical Hampton Inn experience. Would not choose to stay at this hotel again. The staff were very friendly.

When I arrived I was warmly greeted by the receptionist. Check in was quick. I found my room very clean and comfortable. When i returned after dark the parking lot was well lit. Spending the night, the area was quiet and in the morning i found the breakfast quite pleasing. I would stay there again.
