“We have never stayed in Townsend before during all of our stays to the Smokies. I loved being away from the hustle of crowds. The Parkman was the first place I googled for Townsend area. They allowed my pet which was a must. The room and property were both clean. The staff were polite. It was just me and the hubby for our 10 year anniversary, so the room given was perfect. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Townsend.”

“Although this resort has clearly been remodeled it still feels like a dingy motel. The beds and pillows were horribly uncomfortable, the bathroom had a strong smell of mildew and mold, the light fixtures/fans were noisy, the blinds hardly covered the windows so it always felt like someone could see inside. We actually left a day early for home because we’re just done with the place.”

“check is at three, arrive at 2.30 was not allowed to sign in. came back at 2.50 several people waiting. guy at counter actually stepped up looks watch at watch waits a couple then started to sigh people. and during sigh in allowed people to sign in before those that had been waiting”

“This is a true bed & breakfast and it is magical. Set in the forest, with a mountain in the background, lovely lighting outside at night. We really loved the setting. Unfortunately, our bathroom and kitchenette needed cleaning, and that was a disappointment in such a great place.”

“Picturesque little valley campsite, right by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge tourist options). Clean and cozy tent cabins, wonderful staff that were very friendly and welcoming. We had a great time, it was the perfect home base to explore the Smokies and get outdoors and unplug.”

“The place its self is beautiful. The location is amazing. What was frustrating is on expedia they dont tell you about the addition security deposit. They also did not give us the code information until we were 10 minutes out. That was frustrating because we through it might have been a scam. Also there were packages left outside. We were asked to bring them in. Thats fine we did no problem but there was no where to put then that was not in our way.”

“On the second day the hottub got cloudy, slippery, and smelled like rotten fish. They made us pay for someone to come and change it. That was after days of calling and someone telling me they would be there the next day and never showing. The master tub jets shot out lots of mold when I turned them on so that was unusable as well. Overall it wasn’t a comfortable stay.”
