โI thought the hotel was in down town Chengdu. As it turned out it is 50km away. Google map make a mistake indicating the worng location.
But the hotel was great.โ
โgreat place to stay if you are visiting Chengdu! the hotel is located very close to a metro station (maybe a 5 min walk). the room we booked was a great deal, it had 2 bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. very roomy and comfortable! the room itself was also clean, the beds were comfortable, and in very good condition (not sure when the hotel was last remodeled, but it felt quite new).

The front desk staff claimed that only villa guest will be entitled a GEM as there are more than 100 rooms in the property to cope with. โThe rooms next to main street could be noisy if traffic is heavy. At the moment, not many traffic in the evening. The restaurant served good and nice chinese breakfast. โ
โRooms are large, well furnished and very clean. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, although I think might not have english speaking staff member that you might find in a large chain hotel.
Food is all made by the onsite chef, and while a bit limited in choice, is very tasty and not too expensive.
