This was the most run down place I think I have ever stayed in. They jacked the price up because Daytona was having a 24 hr race, and most places were booked up. Run down is an understatement, and this place hasn't had any repairs or upgrades, to the building I stayed in, in many many years. The mattresses have to be 20 yrs old, and very uncomfortable. There was a roach about 2.5 inches long, in the bathtub. We had three people staying, and there was one hand towel, and two bath towels. Dingy and very well worn looking. The dresser had a complete drawer missing, and one falling apart. The air conditioner smelled like the filter hasn't been changed since it was installed. Just think about what a vacuum smells like when you have pets, that's what it smelled like running the AC. We didn't even bother looking at the sheets, we had brought a blanket and slept on top of the bed comforters and stayed in our clothes for fear of getting something on us, we didn't want to take home. The front of the bathroom sink cabinet was coming off, and looked like it could fall and break some toes at any time. The photos they have posted online are not what we saw. Maybe they have remodeled a couple of rooms, just for advertising sake. IMHO you shouldn't stay at this place unless it's the last thing you can find. I'll never stay there again. Owner was very rude when I told him about how bad a condition that room was, and showed him photos of the big ole roach in the tub.
