"The staff (I think owner?) was friendly and helpful. I would give 5 stars as I was quite happy but I don’t want to give the impression this is a resort. If you understand that it is a more authentic egyptian experience in the west bank of Luxor you will be very happy staying here. "

The highlight has to be the rooftop lounge — the views overlooking the Valley of the Kings are simply breathtaking, especially at sunset. The food was delicious, with a great selection that kept us coming back for every meal. The staff were genuinely lovely — friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with tips for exploring the area. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, each with a balcony to soak in the stunning surroundings. If you’re visiting Luxor, look no further — this place ticks every box. "Very clean room, great AC and a lovely pool! More than anything, Sayed was incredibly welcoming and helpful - when our hot air balloon was cancelled for bad weather, he helped us plan the perfect alternative activities. Fantastic location right next to the valley of the kings/queens and lovely views over the fields. Thank you for a wonderful stay! "

"Our room was very nice. The overall interior and landscape design of Al Wadi is very charming. Although this property is located in a rural area, it is quite urban in its design, featuring a modern, antique, and chic aesthetic in this boutique hotel. All I can say is that we were pleasantly surprised by Al Wadi. "

"Great service, calm and very cosy, peaceful, beautiful country backyard, owner and staff will do anything to help make your stay memorable. The room is clean and equipped with all what could be needed. It is a great place to stay away from the buzz of the city and have a great feeling of the area life style from the tour of the around fields provided by the staff it the beautiful garden on site. My only complaint was road access which is not in the hands of the lodge crew but the city. I would recommend this place any day."

"We had an excellent stay at Sharqotel Luxor! The hotel is in the country side, but perfect for exploring the west bank, and is close by to restaurants and shops. Especially the beautiful Habu Tempel, don’t miss it! The room was clean, modern and had a great view! Our host, Mohammed Dahab, was very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great as well, and huge! He helped us arrange a taxi back to the hotel. Thank you for the stay!"
