โThis was our second trip to the lion at Belpur, and though we couldnโt have the bigger room this time, the room we had was still adequate for what we wanted. Always good friendly staff, who are more than willing to help.
The pub is located in a good area, close to shops and high street, and the mills and gardens. Fantastic time which is why we returned. โ
โThis was a very nice place to stay. I enjoyed the closed in patio area and the breakfast was very delicious. The rooms were neat and the area was safe and quiet.โ
โIt's such a lovely spot and the room was spacious, super clean and with a view out to the lovely surrounding area. The bed was also very comfy and the pillow too, and this from someone who is princess and the pea with her pillows! I also got a really great rate for my one night stay.โ
โThe staff at The Bear Inn are terrific: itโs a family-run business and nothing was too much trouble. You soon will get to know everyoneโs name a they will remember yours; itโs the little things that set a small country Inn apart from the bigger and soulless enterprises. Check-in was easy and, although we originally planned to stay for a couple of days, we were made so welcome, decided to stay for two more. Our day always started with an excellent and leisurely breakfast which really set us up...
โAccomodating they offered us a free upgrade due to a problem with our original room. Good breakfast, friendly staff, great location next to railway station โ
โFantastic old property that has been sympathetically restored / converted with fantastic rooms. Brilliant breakfast and typical Peak District hospitalityโฆ..
Easy walk into the village too, where thereโs shops and a couple of very good pubs too.
We stayed three nights and could easily have stayed longerโฆ.
Hell Yeah!โ
