"Hotel room was a bit dated and needed to be refreshed, room showed evident wear and however it was apparent it needs updating the room was clean, cool and comfortable. We attended a concert at Wooly's and the hotel is in walking distance. We did not feel concerned for safety in the area and it was nice to be able to walk in peace. The appetizers and drinks were welcome but the bartender has a heavy pour and were too atrong. Breakfast was nice however I could have passed as a diabetic not too many choices. We intend to stay here again!!"

"This is a very nice hotel to relax in before traveling by car or plane. Both beds are very comfortable, the linens are clean and white. Thd room has a fresh scent. The bathroom is well stocked with white and fluffy towels. The hotel staff are very helpful! The swimming pool is zn added bonus. The manager does take care of this property. Thank you for s relaxing stay."

"Great location. Great view. Plenty of parking. Our room might be due for updating but overall clean and comfortable. Bed was awesome. Slept very well. Walking distance to Des Moines Civic Center. So nice to not battle traffic after the show."
