"Our hotel stay was fantastic. Everything was clean and well maintained. I like how everything in the room was designed, instead of a traditional chest of drawers and a closet, there was a small bench under the tv and a wall of 6 hooks to hang stuff.
We were a 5 minute drive to Henderson Beach State Park - which was a decent beach. And Walmart is right across the road. The hotel is super close to lots of things. We also felt safe there.
The *only* thing is that we needed an extra pillow. The hotel staff had texted me when we got there, asking if we needed anything. I didn’t know until we laid down for bed that we needed one - so I texted them back, but didn’t hear anything for a while, so I just fell asleep. I probably could have gone down to the front desk, but I was already in my pajamas and tired. I don’t know how often they check that or how that works, but I was hoping I could just text them and get a pillow. So I’m not taking off a star - because I probably could have tried harder. But if you need something quickly, don’t use the text service.
We had a long drive, so we left earlier than they served breakfast, but that’s ok.
Otherwise, loved our stay. Would definitely stay here again."
