“Not going back to this place even though they let us in early. No breakfast rooms big but weird”

“One of the best mid-tier hotels I've stayed in in a long time! Hard to believe it is a Holiday Inn Express. They renovated in November 2025 and spared no expense. The pool and hot tub were huge and very nice. They had a commercial Costa coffee maker in the lobby. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful and included a pancake maker! The rooms were nicely done. They had firm and soft pillows...loved the discrete labeling on the pillow cases. The view of Lake Superior from the breakfast room...

“Enjoyed our stay at Quality Inn near Munising. The room was clean and quiet. The mattresses could have been more comfortable. Breakfast was good, but there was only one waffle iron, and there was a line to make waffles.”

“The welcome when we arrived was amazing. Very friendly! It's "budget", but doesn't feel that way. It's a small motel, where it's obvious that they take pride in maintaining a pleasant, clean, reasonably priced place on the edge of downtown Munising. (So it's a great location, too.)”

“The owners were delightful and friendly and the quant Motel charming, they have really put a lot of effort into restoring this gem. The shower head and water pressure were wonderful the beds comfy and the check in process flawless. The location is great. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and very close to the kayaking tours. “Probably the worst place we’ve ever stayed. Location was very good, close to beach and pictured rocks. The room itself was extremely gross, the carpet was filthy, the shower was gross, and the ac unit was so loud. We chose to pay at the property and they never asked us to pay, just randomly charged our card a couple days after we left.
