“Great place to stay to do Pictured Rocks. The room was good, breakfast was good and the location was good. Only thing they needed to do was keep the trash outside picked up. It would make the stay nicer”

“What a special and gorgeous oasis! We loved the quaint charm and all the greenspace overlooking the bay! Many hours were spent savoring the view and serenity! Highly recommend the savory blueberry pizza from the pizza place next to East Side Brewery!”

“This is an "old school" facility. However, the motel was maintained well and everything worked. It is clean but a little "dog-eared" here and there. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I slept very well. It was quiet. I enjoyed the view and the grassy area above the quay wall with Lake Superior lapping at the wall. The parking spots were wide and roomy. I might go back in the fall.”

“The hotel is ok. The room we were in felt and smelled moist. The laminate in the bathroom was peeling or missing. The door to the room was separated at the bottom and the bathroom door needed a good push to close as it was dragging on the tile. The main thing to be aware of is the bed is no more than 4 feet to the door and you hear EVERYTHING that is happening in the hallway. It was a place to stay, but will find somewhere else next time we come up.”

“The staff was great but the owner should put more money into their investment. Maintenance is lacking and amenities were very worn (microwave, coffee maker, hot water heater- rusty hot water, furniture). The tv is about 12 inches. If you are looking for a place to sleep it’s not so bad- but if you want a hot shower with clean water this is not the place for you.”

“Cute motel. Only bummer was we reserved a king room and when we got there all they had were doubles.”

“It was a motel in a pinch. Blinds don’t fit windows so all the light comes in and anyone can watch you sleep or change. Things haven’t been updated in a while. Outlets so loose, any plug falls out. Carpet is stained and pillows had hairs on them. But, it was a bed for a night.”
