"What a terrific staff in an incredibly historical environment steeped in history. We love this place. Moulins is off the beaten path but an amazing little city with tons to offer. Hotel Mercure, in the heart of the city, is a gem!"

"The property is dated and will shortly be closing for a complete refurbishment. The staff are a delight from reception to cleaning team and valet parking. They do their best to keep the property going, but it shows its age through a struggling aircon system and a very rusty pool area. Its location is excellent, rooms are very quiet, there is a pool. Your experience will depend on your expectations, it’s certainly not 5 stars but a very pleasant base in Vichy."
