“지어진 지 오래되어 시설이 옛날식이고 낙후된 점이 조금 있었지만 바다 바로 앞에 위치해있어서 전망이 좋았습니다. 제프리바와의 자연친화적인 건축물도 마음에 들었고 호텔서비스도 매우 좋았습니다. 음식도 훌륭했으나 호텔 내부 비품이 낡아서 다소 불편한 점이 있었습니다.”

“We enjoyed our 6 night stay. The location of the hotel on the beach is perfect. The staff is very attentive, service minded and positive. We enjoyed the gym and SPA and our wonderful balcony from where we could see the most spectacular sunsets. We would have appreciated a better WiFi ( the small beach restaurants close by had a much better and faster WiFi). The poor WiFi is not acceptable in a place like this. We do not recommend eating at the hotel restaurant- so many better places around. And...

“First time in Sri Lanka. Simply one of the best hotels we have stayed in anywhere. Friendly, courteous staff who couldn't do enough for us, a superb room with a balcony offering a beautiful beach view. We stayed five nights and didn't bother to eat anywhere else - the food was excellent. We wanted to take the chef home with us. We took long walks along the beaches and spent a lot of time in the wonderful hotel grounds and by the very stylish infinity pool. We want to visit Sri Lanka again soon...

“This was our second stay on our trip in Sri Lanka as we enjoyed the hotel so much the first time. Lovely comfortable rooms. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. We dined in both restaurants and the food was excellent in each one. The rooftop bar has a really nice vibe to enjoy the stunning sunsets/cocktails. Would totally recommend if in this area. ”

“This was our second stay at Asian Jewel and it was every bit as enjoyable as the first. Our room (Jasmine) had a direct panoramic view of Bird Lake and we saw many different species of birds as well as small animals including chipmunks, water monitors, geckos (and a cobra one one day but soon banished by the staff...). The staff here are wonderful, friendly and welcoming and nothing too much trouble, and the food is excellent with both Sri Lankan and British options. We are vegetarians and they...
