“We were the only people staying here for the evening and the family made us feel very welcome! The room was clean and tidy with ample space for our family of 4. Clean towels and a bonus heated radiator! The gentleman got up in the morning to make a lovely breakfast for us with lots of choices. If you are passing through Bayuex i highly recommend you stay here! Thank you! ”

The Chateau is situated in the countryside just 2 miles from the beautiful town of Bayeux. Perfect location for nice walks and for touring the D-Day sites. Note: it’s a 15 euro trip to/from Bayeux. Worth it.”

“This is a beautiful property located close to Normandy. It was a perfect place for us as a base from which to visit Omaha, Utah and Juno beaches, as well as the American and German cemeteries. The Hotel is in an elegant chateaux that has been converted into lovely rooms. We had a suite that was roomy and comfortable, with a great bathroom. Stunning grounds and gardens. A great pool. And the restaurant was over the top. Oliver and John are warm and friendly hosts. Elegant setting, amazing food...

“Les deux ladies de l'accueil de l'hôtel sont sympathiques et très aimable et d'une gentillesse. Ça fait du bien, on a tendance a en perdre l'habitude. Et comme c'est le premièr contact avec l'hôtel, ça laisse une très bonne première impression. La chambre est propre et bien entretenu, literie très correct, et 2 oreillers par personnes, de quoi retrouver ses habitudes. Et la vue au petit matin sur les mulberry et la plage au soleil levant, c'est vraiment top. ”
