"From the moment that we walked in the staff on the front was very welcoming, helpful and clear about the hotel. The room was clean and spacious and all areas were pleasant. Breakfast was very good, plenty items to select and delicious, the attendant was kind . The pass for public transportation save a lot of walking. Easy to check out."

"We arrived early, hoping to drop out cases until check-in time whilst we began exploring the city. In the event we were offered an upgrade to a larger room that was ready for occupation, which of course we accepted. The room was large and comfortable, with a comfortable seating area and very comfortable beds. The room was a little too hot on the first night, but we turned the thermostatic valves on all of the radiators down to "frost protect" and it was much more comfortable on our second night. We had booked breakfast inclusive and we pleased with the range of items offered. A real bonus was the availability of complimentary hot drinks throughout the day (until 9pm). The staff were very friendly and helpful. A really pleasurable stay in a good location to explore the city."

"The surrounding area was very nice and the room, though somewhat small, was quiet for an urban area. The breakfast was outstanding. We would stay again if we revisited Bern."

"The staff was helpful at check in and the water dispenser including sparkling water on each floor was a bonus. Location was good for those wanting to be away from Bern train station and Old Town, being a minute away from a bus/tram stop. A major problem is the chaos at breakfast time where there was hardly any seat."

"The location was fantastic, the room was fair, but...no ice, no fridge, no microwave, no way to keep any food from any meals or the store fresh purchases for later or reheat anything. The city shops basically shut down at 6pm so if you have not prepared for this it can be very frustrating when you have no way to save your food. Plan ahead and you will be fine, but as a traveler doing site seeing all day it was important to manage your food as restaurants in the area were very expensive and buying food from the store to save cost ment daily trips in the morning to the coop for food. The staff was amazing and helpful, the proximity to the train station makes daily travel very easy."
