“We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic hotel right in the heart of Monteverde. Our room was modern and comfortable with amazing rainforest views. The on-site amenities are top-notch - beer garden (with great food and homemade beer), jacuzzi, yoga classes, juice bar - and everything at the hotel is done sustainably. The hotel's own farm (Finca Madre Terra) provides most of the restaurant's ingredients, including the cheeses, and every dish we tried was amazing. As a non-drinker, I was also...

“Rancho de Lelo Ecolodge is a family owned small lodge, located about 20 minutes from the main area of Monte Verde. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with this charming family. The National Park is only 10-15 minutes drive. The farm to table cuisine was awesome. Highly recommended. ”

“Rooms are cabin like. No air conditioning or pool but evenings were cooler. Lots of different tours and shopping experiences. Hard to park in town but found a good restaurant with a parking lot. Staff were very nice and knowledgeable ”

“Very nice garden for our toddler to walk around and play with toys they provided. Staff very friendly and always ready to help , btw they gave us a free upgrade. The rooms were clean and comfortable , could use a better soundproof for the walls jus as a suggestion. The trails were amazing, but some signs need to be fixed. Overall the experience was truly amazing , we enjoyed our stay , will definitely be back and recommend it.”

“Being in our room here almost felt like being in an upscale cabin or treehouse! It was very quiet and peaceful. There were thunderstorms at night and I loved listening to them while lying in bed. The bathroom was extremely nice with good soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. There is a lovely trail at the back of the property. ”

“I really wanted to give this property 5 stars but I had to take one off simply because the rooms, at least our room, was very outdated and the bed extremely uncomfortable. I will say that the views from this property are breathtaking and we were in love! It is a short walk to the Monteverde Cloud Forest. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The food at the restaurant was also quite good! My only disappointment was the room condition and bed. Otherwise, wonderful property! ”
