“What a wonderful place and could not have been in a better location in proximity to the beach and town. All gratitude and love for the hosts. There is an ice bath on the premises which was welcomed almost daily after each surf session. Thank you so much. Can’t wait to come back. Pura Vida!”

“Beautiful rainforest property with good birding opportunity, birds song, cicadas, and frogs, but "touristy", so the natural vibe gets ruined. It seems they cater to tour groups, so not very private or queit. Have to pay for 3 meals a day but on their schedule that's too late for serious birding and not as healthy as I'd prefer. I travel solo and do not enjoy sitting by myself or wasting time I could be out finding birds sitting in a restaurant. I go ut birding before daybreak so, lunch as late...

“Quiet and away from busy roads. Building with lots of character and lots of common rooms for relaxation. Good kitchen to prepare your own food. Great breakfast and wonderful host”

“The local host Denier was more than accommodating, I would return because of his management skills, you can tell he likes to run a happy and friendly, secure hotel. Excellent service, great food. The place is clean, quiet, right by the Gulf with a dock and a pool. At the moment The restaurant was closed but we did have the included breakfast. The room was comfortable, A/C, TV, wifi available too(since phone reception is a bit tricky), refrigerator (there also more basic options on other rooms)....

“This is such a gem of a place. The service was impeccable and the staff are so lovely, it made our stay even more special. There loads of activities that travelers can choose to do as well. The pool and area surrounding is so relaxing, tropical and tranquil. There are a plethora of amazing birds and other species to see on the property itself or just a short walk! You can also rent bikes and head into Puerto Jimenez which is lovely and special too. What an amazing property and spectacular...
