"We booked the Hotel for one night because we wanted to do a trip to Tortuguero with a boat from Moin. Because I got sick we didn't end up going and stayed at this place for 3 nights.
When we first got there, we were confused because there are two Hotels with very similar name: a "Hotel Playa Bonita" and this place "Hotel Boutique Playa Bonita". This Hotel does not have a sign with the name anywhere and the building we stayed in actually said "Maribe". But the very nice lady at the front desk...

"Terrible location if you don’t have a rental. Too far to walk to town or the beach and local taxis and Ubers are unfamiliar with its location in the sticks. No restaurants nearby. This is an eco lodge, meaning, no air conditioning, and boy will you miss hit. You will boil alive in your room. Staff provided an extra fan, which did little to help."
