“I have no idea how In The Wind Hostel gets good ratings. Maybe mostly men stay here and avoid the brunt of it, but as a solo female traveler, this was hands down the worst hostel experience I’ve ever had.  The owner’s behavior was unhinged. He has a scary pattern of going from 0 to 100 out of nowhere, flying off the handle, and then snapping right back to a weird 0 like nothing happened. My first morning, I accidentally walked through an open door into his kitchen. He blew up and screamed in my...

“Smooth late check-in, rooms clean - everything good.”

“Muy mal. No pude utilizar la reservación. El hotel tiene varios días de estar clausurado por remodelación. Tuve que buscar alojamiento en otro lugar, con los consecuentes inconvenientes. Exijo que se me reintegre inmediatamente el monto que Hoteles.com cargó en mi tarjeta de crédito.”

“나쁘진 않았지만, 여행오시는분이라면 다른곳을 추천해드림”

“The room was very clean and the staff was helpful, but the furniture has seen a better day and the refrigerator even had rust on the door. The safe was broken and you had to go to the front desk to get a hair dryer. And there was a gap under the door which allowed all the hallway noise to come in. IN addition, there's no sign on the outside of the building and the entrance is behind a iron gate so I was not sure I was at the right building, but I rung the bell anyway and luckily it was the...

“WiFi didn't work in room. Staff allowed smoking. The place smelled strongly of smoke. Staff watched TV in the reception area - this was too loud in the room. Room was not clean. There was still half a bottle of water from a previous guest in the room. This could be a nice place to stay, but there is little attention to details: Bathroom door scrapes across the floor and is difficult to open. No ventilation in the room. Not even a fan! No bedside lamps or power outlets. Off-street...

“It was a very nicely decorated clean and neat as a pin. We would definitely stay there again.”

“Se ve un poco descuidado”

“The front desk did not have our reservation and we waited outside a locked gate in a rainstorm for about 10 min. The reception was not warm. We felt like an inconvenience. Even though they have a restaurant it was closed until breakfast. They offered to drive us to town (far away) for dinner. They did not have enough seats in the vehicle for our group so we stayed in and skipped dinner. I think for young locals it’s a great place for family with thermal pools, lake, river and nature. For older...

“This is very quiet secluded location located about 1 mile in on a dirt road that really is not near anything. If you're looking for peaceful get away from everyone and everything location this is exactly right for you. The restaurant has a great view overlooking the lake but unfortunately the staff notified me that the lake is owned entirely by the electric generating company and that you're not allowed to use the lake in any way shape or form. The staff was very helpful and most of...

“Lo más notable de nuestra estadía fue la gran amabilidad de quienes nos atendieron, mostrando flexibilidad y auténticos deseos de ayudarnos a pasar un buen rato en sus instalaciones. Esto sin duda hizo nuestra experiencia de lo más memorable. Sin ninguna duda nos gustaría repetir nuestra visita en el futuro y recomendar encomiablemente a otros que los visiten. Aparte de eso, las instalaciones estaban en muy buen estado y con gran limpieza.”
