“For the price it does the trick. Room was clean and staff were great. Sophie at the reception was fantastic. Some of the rooms on the main floor are a bit small and not a lot of air circulation. Close to a mall and the lots of restaurants.”

“No AC, loud noises from street (lots of motorcycles), loud music from lobby (karaoke machine?), bed with no blanket (only top sheet), and bathroom out of TP and paper towels. However, hotel staff were super friendly and helpful and responded quickly to any inquiries. Decent storage in room closet. Area is secure (garage door and front door locked at night). Had a private room for 4 and it did the trick for a 1 night stay before early flight but otherwise would be rough. ”

“This was a great choice for me and my family. We had a great stay. The staff was nice but they could have been more warm and friendly. The rooms themselves were clean and maintained well. I like that it was like an apartment (it had a fridge, microwave, stove top, sink, and plates/cups). The breakfast was good. The location was great for us because we were able to walk to the mall that's nearby and it was a short drive to downtown San Jose.”

“Muy mal. No pude utilizar la reservación. El hotel tiene varios días de estar clausurado por remodelación. Tuve que buscar alojamiento en otro lugar, con los consecuentes inconvenientes. Exijo que se me reintegre inmediatamente el monto que Hoteles.com cargó en mi tarjeta de crédito.”

“Cozy little family-owned hotel in San Jose. Like many places in San Jose, it is closed up like a prison, with bars and locks to get through. Once inside, the family that runs the place couldn't have been nicer. We arrived at their mealtime and they offered us a share of their own lunch! Really great folks. The room was spotless and clean. The bed reasonably comfortable by Costa Rican standards. The bathroom was clean and will need some updating/renovation/repair soon. The shower handle...
