“The resort was beautiful, quiet and clean, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. You will see monkeys and sloths. The staff will point them out to you as well. Most of the community does speak English and do take dollars without difficulty. The restaurants on the resort are pricey, we tried Agua Azul close by and it was delicious and reasonable, Emil’s Cafe was also great but also a little more pricey. Taking a taxi to the local restaurants in Manuel Antonio is about $10 each...

“I would have given them a 5 star but the thing that really irked me is that initially when I asked about using their laundry, they told me that people used the bathroom sink (it is very large) and then used those hanger wires in the shower to dry. So, I did that but when I went to pull out the wires they both were broken, so I had a bunch of wet laundry ! “The property is gorgeous! We had the standard deluxe room and it was great. No one above us and only one other room beside us, so quiet and serene. “My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here! The resort is absolutely beautiful and our room and views were stunning! We saw so many animals just sitting on our balcony. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The food was great at both of their restaurants. It’s a very short driving distance from Manuel Antonio National Park and they offer shuttle service to and from the park and the beach. We will definitely be back!”

“Tidy hotel with an excellent pool area and spectacular view. Breakfasts were also good. Negative Issues included too many bugs got into the room at night. Noisy room air conditioning. Not close to the beach and with a very high climb back to the hotel. Roads outside the hotel were terrible with potholes everywhere. ”
