This is a nice place, but they really, really, need to let folks know that this place is very remote and the road is very bad. “This was an amazing resort. The pool is warm and shaded and comfortable and a great respite from the heat. The best part of the day is evening (around 4:30 to 5:30pm) when the animals come out to play at the pool. “Alma Vida was an amazing place to stay during our visit to Manuel Antonio/Quepos. The property and grounds were gorgeous and they had three beautiful pools. Breakfast was included, which we got every morning and was really good. It is also really close to a lot of restaurants, bars, and shops, which you can walk to. We also saw a lot of animals on the property, including iguanas, agoutis, and monkeys.”

“Our room felt like a dungeon with no natural light from the windows (facing inner corridors). During the night same windows were fully bright from the lights shining in those corridors- madness!! There was evidence of water damage on the walls, cold water only in showers and random mostly empty bottles of „soap” and „hair mask” for cosmetics, not even any soap to wash hands! Room had coffee machine but no coffee to go in it. Dishes in the room were dirty. Only saving grace for this hotel is...
