Pool was very cold but that’s okay& overall was a good stay.. the walk with the luggage up stone steps was hard but worth it”

“Great hotel right next to Manuel Antonio national park. Clean room but mattress was very shaky. One turn and you could fall. But staff was great. Also Expedia mentions limited parking for hotel but they had no parking whatsoever and we had to pay 10$ USD each day for parking.”

“Hotel is pretty dated. Is long overdue for a renovation. There is no included breakfast. Front desk was helpful to hold the luggage after the checkout. Property is very close to the Manuel Antonio national park and the beach. ”

“We were in a bit of shock when we reached Cocomar. The pictures must have been taken years back as the rooms were rather worn out. We had to pay extra to upgrade to a suite because our original room was tiny and rather depressing. The room was smelly - probably not aired out enough. Beds in the suite were good size but squeaky and one had a whole under the mattress fixed with a cardboard. Breakfast is part of the deal, however, it’s basically the same food (a plate with rice, beans, scrambled...

“The rooms were clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is noisy with loud music playing until late at night and dogs barking. In the room adjacent to mine someone was having an argument for about 45 minutes. Yelling could be heard clearly in my room even with the door closed.”

“Great quiet property tucked into the rainforest. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. The family pool was quite chaotic and crowded. The restaurants for Lunch and Dinner are hit and miss. The shuttle down to the beach is both easy and convenient. The area is very safe and walkable. It's a little "touristy" as you are paying tourist prices and not a ton of authentic food options.”
