“Fantastic stay. From Heidi and Gordy at the pool bar to Sam at the Grill and Amanda at the front desk, the staff made for a wonderful stay. Live music and bonfire event was great. It is an older property, but very well maintained. This place has character. Great for families and friends.”

“The room and bathroom were clean, A/C worked well but was a bit loud. Grab and go breakfast was appreciated. The indoor pool looked nice (we didn’t use it). Check in check out was smooth. Would recommend for an overnight stay. Not the most luxurious but the price was right.”

“I arrived back at the hotel at 9:30 pm after checking in at 4:00 pm. There was no parking. I was told that I could park on the street outside of the hotel (!) or in a parking lot next to a woman’s shelter that the hotel did monitor (I asked if the hotel had cameras there). Not having a secure and monitored place to park is unacceptable. I ended up checking out and driving home two hours. upending my plans for the next morning. I have stayed at this hotel many times and will not be back.”

“Hideaway Bay is a great little spot. We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage itself was very clean and nice. The beach is quite rocky so you need shoes to walk around and for the water (especially for little kids). It was great to have access to loungers and umbrellas. The beach bar was delivered food and drinks right to you on the beach, I would suggest putting side tables with the beach furniture so people have a place to put their drink down. The fire at night was lovely, everyone gathered...

“Staff was very helpful. Other than that, no. We didn’t want to take our socks off on the carpet. The mini fridge was dirty and rusting. There were rust stains in the tub. Honestly, if I was staying here for a conference, I would be mad. The place has so much potential! The location is fantastic, staff is helpful and kind, but the property needs some work.”

“Very retro, But that’s a good thing! Older roadside motel with a lot of history. Maintained well, but still needs more TLC. Would stay again”

“Great accommodations for the price! Other guests were a little loud but the room was clean and the shower very nice. The full-sized bed was a little snug for two but I would stay again if in the area.”

“This property is very expensive. 2 of the 5 lightbulbs in the bathroom were out, the light between the beds didn't work, and the bed closest to the door sounded like it had an aluminum or metal box underneath it. The tables also had a sticky on it in the dining room. The check in girl was nice at least. It was not worth $65, let alone $180. Not everyone can eat carbs for breakfast, so that was pointless. We had to go out to eat. I feel that this hotel is exploiting people by charging so much...
