“Free parking and views of lake from the dining room were very good. Half board - the dinner was good but overpriced so the 10% service charge worked out extortionate. NOT GOOD We were put in a small loft room with a difficult door to open and a tight stair access- the room and whole property needs a lick of paint and could be cleaner. Location too far from bowness - walking into town is 20minutes but on both roads which had no pavement so very dangerous. Wouldn’t stay here again .”

“Great location, just a short walk into town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and had a lovely ensuite. Only downside was a loose toilet seat and extremely small pillows. Nevertheless we would use this hotel again. ”

“I was so happy to have sent our honeymoon from a fantastic hotel. The honeymoon room we stayed in was comfortable and the tub could bubble shower. Everything was perfect. All the staff were friendly and breakfast was very good. The evening in the restaurant next to the hotel was excellent and the staff was friendly. I will definitely go back to the first year of marriage next year. I hope you do not forget us.xx”
