“The resort was just short of a failed attempt of attempting to be great. The room was updated but there were these teeny tiny bugs that were running a muck on the counter tops. I noticed the outer linen was not clean. Day 2 I decided to grab a bite and have drinks at the bar, I left a 20$ bill on the counter/dresser under TV and cleaning person took it. Friday at 8:30 the DJ was set up about 25’ outside our door and there was a residual 65+ decibels in our completely closed room. “The toilet in our room was broken. The screw was broken so it couldn't be tightened back up. It moved and pinched my leg. I asked to have it replaced, but that never happened. The phones did not work so there was no way to reach the staff when needed. I felt that they might be able to move seaweed at the beach area daily in a spot so that the tenants could get to it.
