“Unfortunately this property had the sargassum working against it, while we were there. We were looking forward to beach front property but the seaweed was bad. However the staff did give us warning and offered to shuttle us to other beaches. I think if we visited at a different time of year it was have been wonderful. The food was good, drinks were delicious and bartenders were AMAZING! The pool was clean and the perfect temp! The room was not as advertised, but it was decent with a great AC...

“We enjoyed all the access the Buccaneer had to offer. The beaches are beautiful. The one thing I would do differently is rent a car. Also, I wish the property had access to rent a golf cart if you weren’t golfing. The expense of some of the food was something to plan for or to purchase a meal plan for the next trip. It was a great vacation, overall.”

We were told of dining and bar options that were either closed permanently, closed early, or provided very limited options. For example, the coffee shop's espresso machine was broken and had been for months. The lobby bar and Italian restaurants...

“We stayed eight nights and it was okay. I was shocked by the fact that guests have to pay twenty dollars a day to use an umbrella on the beach, and you only get one free lounger, your travel partner will have to pony up 15 bucks. No coffee maker in any of the rooms. Our sliding glass door to the balcony was broken, and we only had WiFi in our room for about 5 minutes the entire time. The pictures are very inaccurate, the place is in shambles from hurricane damage and it’s a bit depressing when...

“The apartment truly does sit in the heart of Christiansted - a perfect location for popping out to a local dinner, browsing local shops, heading out for an excursion, or ducking downstairs to the juice bar. The space was well maintained very clean, and provided everything we need. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this apartment for a trip to Christiansted.”
