“Staff were excellent, room was brilliant and the little luxuries were perfect. Breakfast very good.”

“Lovely setting with some great architecture. Friendly family run hotel but somewhat tired in places. Disappointed by the most bizarre room which had a full size stainless steel kitchen segregating a reasonably nice bedroom from the large but rather odd bathroom (which also housed the wardrobe). Had its own ‘orangery’ and small garden. Loads of blinds to close, some of which were broken and the orangery outer doors had no blinds. Open plan so couldn’t make it completely dark… luckily had my eye...

“Rooms overlook the beer garden, single glazed, music blaring and very loud at midnight on a Tuesday. Don't stay if you need to sleep. Asked to move but no help. Staff say there is nothing they can do. If you need a good night's rest book eksewhere”

“All the staff super friendly and the room was very big and clean. The mattress wasn’t great though and the noise travelled through the rooms- people above were quite noisy. Breakfast had good options but the scrambled egg on toast wasn’t great- should’ve done the full English! Would stay again but the bed could be comfier and hopefully not as noisy people above next time.”
