“Excellent location near shops, eating places and attractions. The Atrium was unique and it was wonderful having a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Superb breakfast and would Bonzai, the restaurant attached to the botel.”

“It's a very clean hotel, the ownership is very friendly and helpful. It is not a modern cookie cutter hotel or building. It is the Victorian era. It is not fancy in modern terms. The stairs are steep and narrow, they way they were done at the time it was built. I would like more lighting on them. Breakfasts were good and satisfying. I had plenty of hot water. ”

“Great location. Right on the promenade and close to the electric tram station. Walk to the other end of the promenade bracing but level. Loved the island. You can see lots by public transport. Get a GO card. Such good value. Beds soft and been well slept in. Breakfast bit disappointing- very traditional. We had a bar meal the night we arrived. Again disappointed. Steak sandwich on plain white bread - ??? We found lots of other fantastic places to eat. ”

“Staff were great, food great, rooms serviced every day and replenished. Very clean and Tidy. Room had a balcony that was indoors, a bit unique but very functional.”

“Perfect access to TT Grandstands and Fan Village. Straight walk up the hill with a few restaurants along the way. Dora (propretior) was very attentive and accommodating. Thanks”

“Nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Good choice of drinks but unfortunately food was a bit underwhelming. Rooms were nice and well kept but the shower base was a bit slippy. Nice selection of complimentary items were provided and supplemented on a daily basis. All in all a very pleasant stay and would not hesitate to re-book there in the future.”

“Lovely one night stay at a reasonable price. Hotel well located. Room was newly refurbished (although quite cheaply), and thought had gone into details, e.g. good lighting and sufficient plug sockets with USB. Beds were comfortable enough although quite creaky. Bathroom was quite spacious although the wall between the bathroom and bedroom didn't go all the way to the ceiling, which was a bit odd. Didn't try breakfast.”
