"The room and the food were both good but the biggest is just that about no one speaks English there (I met just one who did.
Of all the people, all were Asian except me.
The hotel is huge and difficult to navigate
Posting more directional signals would be a big benefit.

"Lovely two day stay at the Villa in Sanya, away from any crowds and a nice beachfront mostly to ourselves. Breakfast was quite good even if dinner on-site was more average, but quite close to downtown Sanya so plenty of local dining options within easy reach. Very pleasant little retreat!"

"Great location for the beach which is a 5-10 minute walk away. The room was big a bit basic but the kitchenette was a nice addition. Basically nothing wrong but not anything to get excited about.
Check in and check out was another matter. Our taxi dropped us off and we entered the big lobby area which is precisely what you’d expect from a 4 star hotel. Except for one thing, there was no one there the words zombie apocalypse come to mind. We eventually found a security guard who directed us to...

"They charged more than what I agreed online by 200 RMB. I made the booking for two seniors-my mom and her friend. I guess this is how they are taking advantage of people. I won't be going or suggest anyone going there.. Quite a shame "
