“Front desk staff was not present when we arrived at 9pm to check into our room. We waited 10 minutes for someone to come check us in. When the lady did come to the counter, she was rude. The hallways were super hot and the AC in our room did not cool. The common areas were clean and the breakfast was ok. ”

“I travel for work and this place is a gem! Room was clean and very comfortable. Do yourself a favor and check them out if you're passing by. You wont be disappointed!!”

“The only factor I consider when staying at motel 6 is cleanliness.. That said, I wont be returning to this location. Towels were hard as a rock and had sevral stains on both. Staff was friendly and professional.”

“This place is charming and nestled in the woods of east Texas, it’s great for unwinding and getting away from the city for a few days, beautiful outdoor deck for birdwatching or just relaxing, Room was very comfortable and clean, the breakfast that we ate was outstanding, the owners were very hospitable and we will be going back. ”

“Winnsboro Lake Retreat was very relaxing. The interior of the house was spotless. Every we needed and more was at our disposal. Beds were comfortable and the view out at the lake was great. We were a little disappointed that the dock was not usable. We were not informed before our stay about this condition and we should have been. We did not swim as the area looked unsafe to be in the water. Overall our stay was very nice.”
