This place was exquisite and we plan to return in the future. The staff was very helpful and delightful. The restaurant was outstanding for both breakfast (excellent buffet) and dinner (spectacular). The setting is beautiful and walking distance from Muckross Abby and Muckross House. The walking paths are tranquil and well kept. A beautiful place that we LOVED and highly recommend.

The staff were an absolute delight. So helpful and very happy to help us with any questions and suggestions. The morning breakfast was amazing. Again, provided by a very attentive staff. A beautiful facility in a lovely town. Close to the Powerscourt estate. We called ahead about parking which was no problem. Emma suggested Johnnie Fox’s for an authentic Irish dinner. Amazing!

The room was spacious and the amenities lovely. I urge you to experience the spa. I only had time for a massage, but the combination specials they offer seem to be a great value. The massage was well done and much needed. I felt great afterward. I was also in love with the heated indoor pool the shape of a long Lima bean - all 4 ft. deep. We found this one luckily while visiting the area. Had a wonderful stay, hotel staff was helpful, dinner and breakfast were delicious, and rooms were very comfortable.

We would definitely stay at The Davenport again. We liked the location near Merrion Square- a little away from the crowds in Grafton St /Temple Bar area, but still very walkable to those places. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, lots of choices. We quite enjoyed our stay.

Free parking. Amazing location in town. Friendly staff. The room was large. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was really good. Breakfast was included and excellent. Only bad thing was the view out our window.

property was wonderful! Location is great for easy access to downtown area as well on the national park and Muckross property. Our room was absolutely beautiful with a full jacuzzi tub! Will definitely be booking here again!

Great, quiet location. The jump on and off bus stop is just across the street in this residential area. Loved it in every aspect. The bed was heaven after a long day touring.

This is a stunning property with very professional and friendly staff. There is a beautiful perimeter walk on property, around the golf course and grounds which can include the lake (~1.2-1.5 mile circuit). The food in Palmer’s bar was fine, we liked the chicken supreme quite a bit and the wait staff, especially Derry, was wonderful. Great location with its own parking. The breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed how nice the room was and how clean everything was . The spa was a plus .

Great hotel Thomas the receptionist was very nice and welcoming gave us some great restaurant suggestions even the restaurant and bar at the hotel were very good abd great service. Its a 15 min walk to downtown. Highly recommend to stay here very comfortable King size bed very big bathroom and super CLEAN!
