“Do not let the exterior fool you. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are relatively spacious compared to other European hotel rooms, you have a private bath, there's no a/c but the windows open and there's a fan. The breakfast buffet was minimalist, but there is a communal kitchen to which you have access 24/7. The beds are comfortable. The hotel is located a block from a grocery store and less than a mile from Gamla Stan. The hostess is incredibly friendly. I cannot say enough good things...

“Enkelt mennojey boende. Men inte mer! Fanns bara ett sorts bröd vid frukosten. Toaletten gick sönder med lättare översvämning till följd. Fixade detta med att stänga av vattnet till toaletten. ”

“Très bien situé, juste en face du château de Kalmar. Le déjeuner est varié et très bon. De plus, nous avons beaucoup apprécié le bol de soupe (inclus dans le prix de la chambre) avant le souper. Vraiment très bien cet hôtel!”

“Clean and well maintained. hotel has its own restaurant and it is attached to a Gas/convenience store and oddly a Burger King. Easy stop that has it all.”

“The hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a very interesting building. A very intimate venue and we enjoyed meeting the other guests. We had a great breakfast and opted to eat in the restaurant part of the dining and enjoyed a real local experience!!”

“Väldigt trevlig och tillmötesgående personal! Läget på vandrarhemmet var helt fantastiskt och rummen var bra för att vara ett vandrarhem. Alla utrymmen var väldigt rena. Ett stort plus var även trädgården, där vi både åt frukost och fikade. Kan varmt rekommendera att bo här!”
