“Great location room was nice and comfortable and clean. Unfortunately no dining was on site but restaurants are within walking distance (15mins) Loved watching the sunset over the water, and the deer across the street.”

“I took my kids to a swim meet in Kenora On. The bathroom had dried urine on the bottom and all around the toilet. The bathtub was unclean and I while washing it pubic hair was coming off the shower curtain. I wiped the bathtub and the cloth was black. The vanity counter was dirty as well and the sink had dirt all near the top. Red and Black dirt was very disgusting. Everything was dusty! I had went down to the reception area and showed him pictures of the cloth from cleaning up . Manager said...

“The staff and amenities were really good. There wasn't any soup or cookies this time around when we traveled. However, we like coming back every single time and it's nice and quiet. Would highly recommend”

“이곳은 호텔이 아니라 여인숙입니다. 이곳은 길 건너편에 있는 travelodge가 관리합니다. 이곳은 큰 길가에 있어서 시끄럽고 위험합니다. 나는 방 안에서 실외용 부츠를 신고 있었습니다. 방 바닥이 전혀 청소되지 않아서 흙먼지 투성이 였기때문입니다. 출입문에 붙어 있어야 할 안전 잠금장치는 부서져 있습니다. 조식도 없고 룸서비스도 불가능합니다. 침대엔 알 수 없는 벌레도 있었습니다. 이 모든 것에 불구하고 가격마저 비쌉니다. 이곳의 적당한 가격은 $50이하 입니다. 이곳에 자느니 차라리 당신의 차에서 잘 것을 추천합니다.”

“As of May 2026 the hotel is undergoing renovations. Serious renovations. The room was finished and clean with excellent work showing, but the elevator is nonfunctional and the floors have to be reached on stairs stripped of flooring, carpets, and even paint. If you have difficulty climbing 48 stairs to reach the rooms on the second floor, you may want to spend your stay in Kenora at a different Hotel. “As always…wonderful and welcoming. Always stop here when we travel over the top of the big lake. Highly recommend”

“Really wish they would have actual cutlery and plates for breakfast and not use plastic.”

“A nice little spot with comfy beds for the night. Booked the family suite and there was no dish soap, the dehumidifier was full and when emptied the basin was full of mildew. The smart TV was missing its cord, setting up the source was difficult as well. The dust factor on the toaster was next level but at first sight, the place did it's job.”

“At 3:30am some intoxicated folks couldn’t get into their room so they started banging on doors to let them in. There is no front desk staff after 12 midnight so no one could help them. This happened again at 4:45 with the door banging. At 6 am a Sisco transport truck doing a delivery for the hotel right outside the room. Needless to say not a great sleep at The Howey. ”

“Just normal Hotel 6 type motel beside highway. Truck Noise but good place to stay over. Quiet except truck sound~ Room is exactly as pictures, old but no complaints for stay overnight”
