“Even though Expedia advised the hotel provided an airport shuttle that was not the case! Due to the petrol crisis I was advised by the hotel upon advising of my delayed flight that I would have to find transportation myself. A very kind stranger from my flight, managed to get a driver/taxi to take me to my hotel. Upon arriving I had to pay 2000 bir which was a lot by their standards. I know I’ve been fleeced but what can you do and they have been hit badly by the petrol crisis! ”

“This hotel is absolutely excellent! It is beautiful, clean and safe and the staff are exceptional! It is a little away from Gondar town which is really nice and it is gated with security. It has outdoor patio area and a rooftop sitting area and a bar. Our stay Included breakfast which was made to order and delicious! Rooms have a balcony and are elegant and comfortable. Hot water at all times and they have a generator. We will absolutely be staying again! Thank you to the staff!! ”

“I have traveled the world with my family, and HIGHLY recommend the Mayleko Lodge. I selected the lodge at random, and was glad I did. The service was incredible. The Hotel Manger paid personal visits to our room to ensure that we were doing well, and in one case noted we were late for breakfast, and offered to arrange room service so we would not miss our breakfast. The Hotel Manger also arranged sightseeing with a very knowledgeable local guide that my son and I very much enjoyed. The Food...
