“Overall it was a really nice place to stay. There was a bit of confusion when we first arrived about whether or not we were booked to stay there, and this slightly delayed our check-in. The general area is beautiful and everything in Húsavík is within easy walking distance. Our biggest complaint was that the curtains didn’t block out the light as well as other places we stayed, so it was harder to sleep. Apart from that minor issue it was very nice.”

“Very small intimate cabin - hubby bumped his head due to the low overhead space leading up the stairs. We had an issue due to the unseasonably warm weather but when we contacted the owners they were very responsive and helpful. Overall a very nice stay!”

“Great apartment! Centrally located on the main drag in Akuryeri and right next to this fabulous cafe called Berlin! The flat itself was spacious yet cozy, and after traveling for a few days it was a nice place to relax and watch movies while it snowed outside. The beds and linens were very comfortable, and there was off-street parking in a private lot. Would definitely book again! Wish we stayed longer than 1 night!”

“지도에 숙박업체 이름이 검색되지 않아 처음 예약 후 찾아갈때 조금 애먹은 것 빼고는 다 좋았습니다. 보일러 작동이 잘 안되어 숙소측에 말하니 곧바로 해결해주어 감사했습니다. 이외에도 숙소측에서 게스트를 매우 잘 신경써주어 잘 머물다 갈 수 있었습니다. 숙소는 매우 넓은 편은 아니지만 새 건물인것 같았고 깔끔하고 아늑했습니다. 다음에 미바튼에 가면 또 묵고 싶습니다.”

“Wat een ontzettend leuk vakantiehuis. Een perfecte ligging op een mooie locatie en het mooie uitzicht voor de deur. Het huis had alles wat je nodig hebt inclusief een hottub en bbq. Vanuit deze locatie hebben we verschillende uitstapjes gedaan en alles was redelijk in de buurt. ”

Cozy Stay Despite the Age

"The hotel is a bit dated, but overall it’s a cozy place to stay — especially given the great location right by Lake Mývatn. Don’t expect warm smiles at the reception; the front desk staff were rather expressionless. That said, the restaurant and bar staff were more pleasant and helpful. If you’re traveling around Iceland, it’s best not to expect typical hotel service as you’d find elsewhere. Still, this place was comfortable enough for a short stay and provided the basics I needed."

저렴한 숙소 그러나 비싼 아침식사

"Among the accommodations around Lake Mývatn, this is a relatively clean and cheap hotel for its facilities. However, breakfast is separate, and the 10% discount price is ISK4,050 (=30USD=43,700 won), which is quite expensive. There were several CCTVs in the restaurant where I ate breakfast, but I wondered why there really needed to be CCTVs in the restaurant. I felt like I was being watched while eating breakfast. 미바튼 호수 주변에 있는 숙박 시설 가운데 비교적 깨끗하고 시설에 비해 저렴한 호텔이다. 하지만 아침 식사는 별도인데 10% 디스카운트된 가격이 ISK4,050(=30USD=43,700원)으로 상당히 비싼 가격이었다. 아침을 먹는 식당에 여러 대의 CCTV가 있었는데 식당에 굳이 CCTV가 있어야 하는지 의아했다. 아침을 먹으면서 감시당하는 기분이었다. "
