“Overall okay. Only thing is the master bedroom aircon which takes awhile to fix. Owner very responsive and provided welcome drinks when arrived. The area is good and quite close to shops. Good to have a car though.”

Lumited cold drinks when resturant shut. Nothing around there shop wise. Bring supplies. On the plus the people at the desk were good. And walking distance to Orang-Utan, Sun Bear and RDC. Or 4 ringets in taxi, so cheap.”

“Ok to stay but now knowing how hot it is in the middle of the day, I would prefer a hotel with a swimming pool. It was alright for the price, located within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and handy location for getting to Sepilok and other places outside city centre by grab car.”

“We have never been to an area like this before and came because of the wildlife and culture. Sepilok Forest Edge Resort provided both. We were so impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the way Sepilok invites you into their culture and the way the lodge was built with the environment in mind. ”

“It was only a brief stopover before a river cruise so didn't expect much and I guess it met expectations. Area around the hotel was a little dirty and there wasn't much to walk to. Hotel room was basic (fine) and the sheets and floor were clean. Bathroom wasn't as clean. Had a TV but it came with a 2 prong plug ??? Which makes no sense when its a 3 prong country! Breakfast very limited for western palate - no fruit or breaded things apart from toast. Overall as expected - not sure it's 3 star...
