“The hotel is in a great location, right on the waterfront and there is no shortage of eating places nearby. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The extractor fan from the hotel kitchen made the rooms at the front somewhat noisy in the morning and evening. Breakfast was very good.”

“Staff are exceptional - friendly, kind, helpful. There's nothing fancy about the place, but nothing fancy is needed, given the surroundings. I especially enjoyed my balcony with the fan. Breakfast is decent and it's only a 20 min walk to the orangutan rehab centre and 5 mins to the rainforest discovery centre.”

“Pros are proximity to the airport, and available free shuttle to the airport as well. Otherwise an average 2 star hotel. Cons Breakfast is a buffet style with Rice, Noodles and Vegetables, and Chicken. Eggs are boiled but almost RAW. You can toast your own bread with butter and jelly. Coffee is ok. The rooms are not very clean. Ours was a Non-smoking on the 4th floor, but it smelled like cigarettes. There is Hot water in the shower. Only one half used roll of toilet paper was available.
