“das personal war stets sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, eine familiäre atmosphäre! das frühstück war gut. der poll war immer sauber. das zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet, alles funktionierte bestens, auch das wifi! die umgebung habe ich als absolut sicher empfunden und mit nur 10 min fussmarsch bis zum markt werte ich die lage als sehr gut, da es trotz der zentralen lage sehr ruhig ist. ich würde sofort wieder kommen!!! danke für alles, ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt!!!”

“The staff are very accommodating; there was always electricity, which can be an issue in Sao Tome, I believe they have a generator. We walked to the Tamarindos Beach. The grounds are loaded with tropical fruit trees and part of breakfast is served from those trees!!!”

“We had a great stay at Pestana. I must admit, it did not stat well. We stayed on south of Sao Tome and a day before our booking, I called the hotel to ask if they have a free boat transfer for guests. The very unfriendly person on the phone told us to be at the dock at 10am. We came to the dock, boarded the boat and after arrival they wanted us to pay 42 EUR for it. We protested as we understood it was free We would take a private boat transfer from out resort to the island if we would know we...

“Ouder hotel, maar goed onderhouden. Zeer mooie tuin en zwembad. Ligging zeer goed. 1 minpunt voor reizen in Sao Tome en Principe is : geen Mastercard, debet if credit cards accepted. Visa debet max 60€ in pinautomaat voor sommige banken only. In meeste hotels kan men niet met cards betalen !!! Cash meenemen. Euro is eel overl betaalmiddel of lokale Dobra munt. ”

“Pros: Room is very spacious and clean. Common areas also nice and generally I enjoyed a quiet atmosphere. Staff is nice, food is good. Cons: They did not honor the complementary airport transfer that is announced on line, they arranged a private taxi that charged me 20 US Dollars (for a 4 minute ride). The quality of bed linens and towels is not great, they should improve them. The one day I used the pool, which is big and pretty, the water was not clean. ”
