“Sorry, this review will be honest. The hotel was dilapidated. It needs a complete remodel. The parking was fine. The bar downstairs was a good addition, but they serve warm beer. So don’t bother going there. The sheets seemed clean enough. There was a small black stain, but who cares. As to the bathroom. It was fine. Toilet flush was weak, but never clogged. “King's Inn was a welcome surprise while traveling across the US. The hotel is an older hotel so you may be tempted to just drive by. That would be a mistake. First, the staff at check in was so friendly and helpful. This is a family run business and they take pride in it. The room was fantastic. Old, yes, but spotless. The room is designed so you have everything you need, refrigerator, microwave. Beds are very comfortable. Without question, we would stay here again.”

One thing that was disappointing was that the “hot tub” was actually a shared community hot tub that was almost always occupied by other guests. The listing didn’t make it clear that it wasn’t private. We also ended up in a “cottage” that was actually on the second floor of a house, requiring stairs. “The breakfast was excellent. The pool area was kept clean. The beds were very comfortable.”

“I have stayed at this property before and had been very impressed with its cleanliness and attention to detail, so I chose to stay here again a year later. Unfortunately, this time the quality had dropped a bit. The room was fairly clean but the sheets and towels had some stains on them, which is a total turnoff for me. I was given some new towels but was disappointed that overall the property had taken a decline in it’s quality and cleanliness!”

“It was a nice location. You can tell its a little bit of an older property, but nice. There was some mildew in the shower and the toilet ran most of the night, but the rooms were clean. Didn't make it to breakfast but it looked like it would have been good. Lots of room, seating. Staff was nice and welcoming. We had a group that reserved separately but they were able to get us rooms near each other.”
