Our room was lovely, very spacious and warm, all facilities you would need. Free on-site parking a huge plus. We were staying for a gig in the city centre and an uber into town was less than £5 so can’t complain about location. Would def stay again. ”

“This is our second stay at the Talbot, first was late summer 2024. Atm, the pub part of the hotel is closed and meals were not offered. Local gossip said the hotel was being used for asylum/immigrants, I saw no evidence of this and the clients seemed to be mostly couples and businesses. Dad and I stayed in a twin room, it had a large shower, no bath, desk, tv (not in hotel mode so streaming stick was easy to use), slightly larger than sister’s double.
