“Check-in was great and the family room we booked was clean and a good size. I removed some stars based on a couple of things. “Hottest day in May on record and the heating was on in my room. After speaking with staff three times and an hour and a half later, I was moved to another room. In spite of the wonderful advert featuring a restaurant I was told no kitchen tonight. Second room was very noisy overlooking the car park which doubles as a camping ground for motor homes, with ten present. No mattress cover and a very dirty mattress. “This is a charming country house and everyone was amazing. We enjoyed a walk around the property and the food was spot on. You can’t go wrong staying here if in the neighborhood. If you’re also familiar wrote ceramics, you’ll find several ships about 10-15 mins away that is a great place to browse and shop. ”
