“Excellent venue, free gym and pool access in huge University sports centre.- worth a lot in itself For any graduates , great nostalgic setting. Rooms very clean - traditional academic pine decor. Accommodation is named after son of Captain Scott & former Chancellor of the University. Extremely good value for money, room has everything you could wish for”

“We are visiting family who live down the lane. When we first arrived they had us in a room above the entrance. Since it was warm we kept the windows open but unfortunately could hear people as the exited the building. The owner allowed us to move to a quiet room. The owner,Dave, is wonderful. Allowed us an early check in. Dave is also the chef and did a stellar English breakfast!”

“The room smelt fresh and was clean. It was comfortable and had a decent en-suite. The hotel manager was very polite, pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast which was healthy and sufficient. It was a small hotel but that didn’t matter. ”

“Fantastic and very helpful host. Great room and wonderful garden. About a 30 minute walk from the airport and a 20 minute walk from the NEC. The only thing missing was an included breakfast. The WiFi is very slow - streamed did sometimes buffer and not really any restaurants or anything near by and it wasn’t possible to order in without an English mobile number, but the host was very helpful and friendly. This obviously is not the host’s fault, but a food option or a local number would be very...

“Working in the area, made a change from the standard hotels, lovely and clean and carpets throughout made my stay nice and quiet, well maintained and pleasant welcome from Peter, Met Justine in the morning, welcoming well catered breakfast available. I had room 4, a single en-suite room, with coffee/tea in the room and clean shower facilities.”
