“We had a beautiful room. The staff and owner went above and beyond to assist us and accommodate our schedule. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. ”

“The property has a nice pool that was an important reason for our choice. It was closed due to maintenance issues. There was no apology and we went to the local YMCA to swim. Everything else was fine--but when a customer is unhappy, the least you can do is apologize or send a bottle of wine to them.”

“We had a nice stay at the Knotty Pine Motel. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and check-in was quick and easy. Overall, everything was well kept and made for a pleasant stay. The only downside for me was that the bed was a bit harder than I prefer, but that’s a personal preference. Overall, a good place to stay, definitely would stay there again.”

“I love to location of the property. Breakfast was the usual fare. The fan in the bathroom was very noisy and needs replaced. The TV worked but I couldn’t get it connected to the internet so gave up. The HVAC was very noisy which made it difficult to sleep.”

“Romantic old Victorian with charming decor. Nice walkable distance to downtown.”

“Great Staff, wonderful breakfast and pet friendly. The room was perfect. Close to all.”

“Good”

“Lovely place very comfortable”

“Two things can improved: 1). The bathroom needs to be renovated. It has a dirty look. 2). The security alarm was beeping irritatingly all the first night. This prevented us from getting anywhere near a good night sleep. I did not find the owner very responsive. He said someone would be there by 4 PM the next day”

“Convenient location, clean, easy parking and left us snacks.”
