“This property is horrible. We booked for 3 nights only stood one night and left. I tried to ask for a refund and was told I couldn’t because it was booked thru a 3rd party. This place is unbelievable the smell, foul! Like unbearable. everything is rusted from the entrance door handle to the bathtub handle. wires just everywhere, windows covered in a foggy film. place looks deserted as it really should be. They need to shut down. I have so much to say about this place. Nothing good unfortunately...

“I booked this room at 7:48am on Friday 13th, October 2017 for the same day. Upon arriving at the hotel, the manager states that she cancelled my booking at 7:50am because there were no rooms available. No apology. Rooms were still listed on Expedia as available. I received no official correspondence regarding this cancellation.I was told by the front desk that they can cancel it on their system but I would need to call Expedia to let them know the situation. I am currently awaiting a refund....

“My husband and I stayed for 10 nights. Absolutely enjoyed! Met a lot of nice people, from Trinidad and Tobago. We were there over Easter weekend, and school holidays. Oceanfront, all rooms! Location is the best, turtle beach. Saw a turtle dropping her eggs on the beach ! This is a 3*, but the staff definitely add a star. “It is sad to see where Mt Irvine is at. A once vibrant hotel it’s now like a ghost town. No one there. No vibrancy. Water available for a few hours per day, no appealing meals. The entire hotel needs a lift in appearance but it is clear that its potential is still there. Hard to recommend the hotel in its current form. I was disappointed. ”

“It was an okay stay. Wifi did not work so I had to leave the resort to actually work on my laptop. Not very many dining options except for the Waves restaurant. No telephone in my room. When asked at the front desk the agent said she did not know why. Property needs some updating. Once updated I might visit again.”
