“It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. “We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. “I selected here because of close to Timberline Ski Resort during last ski season. In peak season it needs to book ahead of a month. Room was small, but super friendly staff and comfortable bed, clean room. Best one is good room rates if booking available in Canaan Valley. Recommend strongly!”
