"We have just returned from a week at Hotel D’Olonne (or should I say Chateau D’Olonne). We were excited before arrival, and we were not disappointed. The hotel and its staff ensured a safe, welcoming and comfortable stay. Special shout out to Gloria who ran the reception like a boss. Super food in the atmospheric restaurant (think medieval banquet), and the best Aperol Spritz. "What a gem! This hotel was awesome - the staff were wonderfully lovely, they had an excellent restaurant and the rooms were cozy and had everything you needed. The hotel is off of the main strip but accessible easily by train (train station is a 5-7 minute walk) and they also have a shuttle that you can reserve during the day. We loved it and would happily come back again. "

"I found this property to be lovely spot to stay with lovely design and very convenient. The food was okay, not great for the cost with breakfast buffet being mostly cold (as in eggs, bacon, pancakes). To be honest I found most of the staff to be unfriendly bordering on almost rude, it was always as though you were an unwelcomed inconvenience."
